No Fuel Pressure! But the Truck is running?!?

Ok guys, truck has been running fine. I ordered a Fuel Pressure Gauge to keep and eye on things...I go to install it tonight using the new Banjo Bolt, then the on/off valve and accord to the directions you bleed it at this point...Well I go to bleed it and I get nothing, Try again...nothing....So I start the truck and while its running I open the valve a little bit and still nothing...so I said F It and opened it all the way, and got two or three drips before the engine shut off. Got the truck running again and still back to square one....

Is the Famous Lift Pump dead?!?!?!?
Is it Time to just add a Holley Blue in line with it???? I was about to order one and run it inline with the stock LP....
