Well have been tring to find out get prices of repairing or replaceing the 53 block. Most places say that don't know about repairing the block. The few that do one said 3 to 4 hrs to $1500.00 to $2500.00 for a repair to start. The short block prices range form $6800.00 plus labour to $17,180.00 for a long block. The dollarshop that I bought the truck from, I haven't heard from yet.( That won't happen) The core price is 1/2 return being cracked $2300.00 Would be nice to be south of the border.

99 24V 3500 4X4 QC 5 SPD silver pnp , Fedex vp-44 and 300 injectors bucks going down 10 % grade , 14" running boards, 24" wide mud flaps When I got the truck new. Steering WAY out of specs, Dynoed at 130RWHP (mech said that was about right) truck now @ 175 RWHP. 09,55 Topkick in driveway.
