Wife called and the ABS light came on

I'm currently out of town for work but my wife just called me and said the trucks ABS light came on and now she cannot go over 18+ mph. I won't be home for another week and my brother-n-law is on his way to pick the wife and kids up and see if he can get the truck working. Any Ideas please.

She was slowing for a stop light when the light came on she never came to a complete stop as the light turned green she is in 4x4 and it is about 16 degrees outside and ice roads.

Any help would be great.
