Broken down

I'm stuck 2 hours from home. Truck took a mild front end hit, rear ended a friends field car. Immidietely Wait to start, trans temp, water in fuel, check engine, and gen lights came on. Tach and speedo stopped working. Still ran fine, but wouldnt shift into 1st or OD, and the alternator isnt charging. Pulleys move ok, but alt. seems a bit rough. Drove to a friends, smelled smoke. There was a wire stuck in the leftmost, farthest to the ground pulley. They had roasted right off. 2 wires together, looked like they had some sort of connector on them. I searched for about an hour, couldnt find where the hell these things went. Played around with alll the wires, fuses, everything. starts right up, but battery wont hold. Can anyone tell me where to go next?? I'd like to get to work tomorrow lol. Also cant get the key on off code thing to work.

Thanks
Corey
