Carrier bearing issues

I am needing to head to arizona in the next day or two and i have been noticing movement in my drivline line a bad u joint when i upshift and downshift. All the u joints look fine but the carrier bearing does seem to have about 1/4 to 1/2 in of movement. To replace this will i need to remove the entire drive line and replace u joints or will the assembly come off pretty easy. Where is the best place to be looking for this bearing. Thanks for the help.
