truck died and lots of codes!

I am helping my buddy diagnose his 99 ram. He was driving yesterday and the truck just died. After coasting to the side of the road it would not start. A few minutes later it fired up but would not come above 1100 rpm without sputtering and missing bad. Well i went and picked him up 3 hours away last nite and trailored him back to the coast. The truck is now parked in my shop. Truck has the following codes (236,1693,1698,460,1682,1687,1694,1688,251,252)
Lift pump is good and supplying vp44 with 14 psi (with the help of vulcan). The truck will still start but idles terribly and will not come up to rpms. Makes no difference with edge unpluged. From what i can tell it seems to be a vp44. Is there anything to else to look for before dropping a grand on a new injection pump? Also, where is the best place to find a new pump with reasonable warranties and shipping?

thanks
joe
