Truck in limp mode

The malfunction indicator light came on. I checked the codes on the odometer and I have P1693 and P PCU. I was driving when it occurred and I was able to feel the truck when it happened. Anybody know what the P PCU means? I read the post on P1693, seems lie a generic code for a PCM or ECM DTC. Very low power, feels like the transmission went into the limp mode, which I think is 3rd gear. Any ideas? Thanks!
