new vp 44 installed and missing

i installed the new pump two days ago and it was running fine. yesterday between 1200 and 1800 rpms it seems as if its not getting fuel or that maybe theres air any other rpm it runs perfect. i tried it w both the edge box on and off still same . has any one had any probs w this or is there a bad injector. Im goin to be leaving on a trip and wanna make sure i have no problems .
