(APPS) Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Code P0122

I need some expert help gentlemen.

I have a 2003 HO (See signature for specs). I have been getting the P0122 code which is for the APPS Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor. The truck drives fine, except sometimes the truck feel like it is over revving for a shift (Maybe a trans issue, but that is another problem). I just replaced the APPS today and cleared the code with my Smarty....However, the code keeps coming back.....Now what do I do?

Is this something I should ignore, if not where do I go from here? I love my truck, so I must get it fixed.
