VP44 dead???

I have a 2001 3500 5spd with an edge controller. I was driving my truck down the freeway when it seemed like it ran out of fuel. I checked the lift pump and sure enough, no fuel. I just installed a FASS system and checked for fuel. I get fuel out of all of the injector lines I check but the truck won't start. When checking codes with the key method, I got P1693. I plugged in my code scanner and got two codes, P1689 twice. I cleared the codes, unplugged the edge box and it still won't start and now I am not getting any codes. Can anyone help with this????
