96 dodge 5.9 little accelerationn

just did the fuel transfer pump replaced it with a carter.. and for some reason the truck doesnt have as much acceleration... i put in a banks stinger plus kit and put the fuel plate about an eighth of an inch off of the front.. and i still didnt get anything.. just when i floor it at about 45 mph i can get up to 70mph but thats about it
