help-broke down

need your guys help.my 2001 dodge 2500 after almost 10 yrs of faithfull service died after stalling it at a gas station[5 speed].fass fuel pump still showing 15 psi on the gauge.had it towed to greg readon dodge and there getting a 1688 code.vp44.could this be the fca or pressure relief valve and be reading this code?trk has 103,000 miles.hard to think just stalling it could take out the vp44 so fast.thought maybee a saftey fuse or something simulating a accident.trucks broke and were towing it hame from the dealer this afternoon.if it is the vp44 wheres the best place to get one?sorry no profile yet,just joined but have followed this site for years.brad:is there some way to check it?[spray starting fluid or ??]
