Torque conveter does not release
My 1997 3500 Cummins diesel automatic torque converter does not release when you stop or shift into reverse or drive. it is just like shifting without a clutch.it does not do this all time just about 50% of the time. It doen't matter if it is hot or cold. I have tried cutting the orange and black wire at the transmission with no change. I have also removed the transmission relay with no change. I have also removed the valve body and cleaned it witho no change. I am in africa and cannot go to the nearest garage. can anyone give me any more ideas to look for. I need help.
