Hub- lockout hose on ground

I crawled under my truck today and saw the hose that runs from the vacum switch on the front axle laying on the ground. The hose is about 2 ft long and worn on the end. I can not find where the other end ot the hose went. I cut the hose off and plugged the end with a bolt. I need to go agout 400 miles tommorow and need to know if this vacum leak will hurt any thing? Also, I need to know where the other end of the hose plugs into?
