Pilot bearing? ( I hope not!)
I noticed a slight clicking on the way home from work the other day. The only origin that seems plausible is from th bell housing. It is most noticable below 1500 RPM's and follows the engine RPM. There is also now a vibrating below 1500 RPM's when coasting in gear (ie: downshifting). I't almost unnoticable when accelerating except when just starting out easily. So give me some ideas. I know I'm going to need a new clutch soon as a result of the Edge COMP. I'd like to know what this could be 'cause I have a feeling its really NOT GOOD! Lets hear about all the possibilities and upgrades so when I do have to redo the tranny (and that will probably be sooner than I would like), I can do it right the first time. Thanks for any help.
