Clutch Slave Cylinder

Today i was backing the trailer around a corner up a small hill, just letting the truck idle. Total trailer weight about 7000 lbs. i pushed the clutch to the floor to stop and the truck kept on going. it was like i never pushed it in. i worked it in and out a few times trying to make it disengage but it wouldn't. i had to shut it off in gear to make it stop.
after i dropped off the machine i was delivering, i cranked the truck back and the clutch worked perfect. i drove back to our shop no problems. one of our mechanics got in the truck with me and we made it do it 5 more times. It only does it after you put it under a load, like hitting the brakes while in gear for example. the clutch is not slipping. we managed to power brake it in second gear at idle no slipping. Does this sound like the master cylinder or slave cylinder to y'all? it comes from the dealer in one piece, resevoir, line and slave cylinder for $194. anyone with any other ideas please help. i count on the truck everyday and i'm in a jam without it. P.S. it has 53,400 miles, since november 2001. thanks for the help.
