Edge comp instal dead truck

Help my 1998 dodge 2500 4x4 is not running. I installed an edge comp everything works fine level 1 everthing fine ,level three everything fine, level five everything fine and a big grin to boot then halfway through gears engine dies. Will not restart,disconected edge comp still no start, then checked fuses all are fine. Any help would be appreciated.
