95 Tranny

driving the other day my tranny would not shift into 4th or lockup unless I left my foot off the Acc at aprox 45 mph and then it would shift. I then noticed my tranny temp was running about 15 degrees warmer then normal. I stopped,turned off the OD switch took it up to speed turned on OD and it shifted OK. I did a search on TPS, which I thought it might be and nobody seemed to have this proplem only kicking out of lockup. COulD IT STILL BE THAT TPS. I'm snowbirding in Yuma and concerned about getting back home.
