Code 1762?Possible T.P.S/A.P.P.S????

O.K. It's on a Dakota but I thought some of you auto guys might have seen this same code.The truck also doesn't want to accelerate over 2000 r.p.m. in drive/revs o.k. in park/nuetral.Is there any adjustments that maybe I can do before taking it too the dealer?I only have access to a generic o.b.d.scan tool.It's on a '02 Dak.3.9 v-6,auto,4x4.Any help much appreciated....Doug
