20 amp fuse blowing - no codes set

20 amp fuse blowing - no codes set

Got in the truck yesterday afternoon. Turned the key to start the engine. Nothing happened.

I removed the power distribution center cover and looked at the layout of the fuses and relays. Found that a 20 amp fuse labeled "20 AMP START SOL" was blown. Replaced the fuse with another 20 amp. Fuse lit up like a small flashbulb when the key was turned to start the engine. Checked for codes, none were set.

Looked in my 2000 service manual(big orange book)and found that "20 AMP START SOL" is not even listed???

Any help would be appreciated.
