Serious problem

Ok my CD is acting like it is starving for fuel. It bucks and sputters. I have triped two codes 0237 and 1693. i have in formed my dealer of the problem and my mechanic thinks it is a lose baffle in the fuel tank. if any one has had a problem like this i would be grateful for your help my cell is (410)984-4956
