push in clutch, turn key, starter clicks fast...any ideas?

just got in my truck...pushed in the clutch....turned the key....at first it sounded like the battery was dead....shut the radio off....tried again....this time the starter clicks over very rapid but the engine does not show any signs of turning over....any suggestions??

solenoid contacts?? low batt?? i dont have anyone to help me currently as far as mayb taping on the starter, etc but will in a few hrs
