No turbo boost & no power - turbo fried??

No turbo boost & no power - turbo fried??

Sudden loss of turbo boost, no turbo whistle on spool up and major loss of power.

No smoke or oil from the turbo, no bad noises of broken parts in the turbo and the impeller spins freely. I took the intake boot off and started the truck. The impeller spins with the motor and by hand. There was no loose movement detected from the impeller.

Also, there are no obvious signs of problems with the intercooler either. All hoses seem fine and no detectable holes that I can see.

Is there another impeller on the exhaust side that may have seized without noise or breakage; or is this something other than the turbo??
