ats trans help

okay i just finished the install on my ats trans with the triple lock converter, and after filling it up checking the dipstick, it registered full, today is the next day, and it has too much fluid in it, its cming out of the dipstick and onto my downpipe, and starting to smoke, thats no biggie, i cna drain a little, and should fix that problem right? my bigger problem is, when i come to a stop in drive, about 5 seconds later, the tc feels like its going into lockup, AT A STOP, dunno why its doing this, but any help would be helpful please, let me know asap, thanks
