Question Fan Idler Bearing Part #

What is the fan idler bearing part number for these. Where might the lowest price be found? I'm talking about the idler bearing, NOT the fan clutch bearing.

Are you referencing the bearing on the belt tensioner? My 92/93 manual shows only a tensioner and not an seperate idler pulley. The part number for the 92/93 is 03879131.

Autozone services it as a pulley w/bearing for about $18. 00. I highly suggest buying a manual on disc from Mopar Manuals out of Scottsdale Az. Their parts manuals are great.

Are you working with #3 in the illustration below??? Or are you referring to something else??? I don't think the 2nd gens had a separate idler pully like the 3rd gens do.

If #3 is what you want, use Motion Industries for a supplier.

    Part Number NSK BD35-12AT12DDU8.

Should be around $50. 00 or so.

You need to go back into the old files, but there are is at least one thread about bearing replacements. Work out the search feature a little.

    Thumbs up

Thanks, MWilson. It is the part #3 in the picture. Don't have a Motion nearby but I think Bearings and Drives or BDI can cross that number. I have a shop press and related tools. Is there any "trick" to R&R this bearing? (Any snap rings, etc. ?) Thanks for this info.
