"The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and major engine manufacturers have agreed on......"

What part did the engine mfg's agree on?!?? The EPA TOLD the mfg's what they were going to do. Plain and simple. And the more involved the government gets, the worst the mileage will become. They can't understand that burning less diesel brings greater efficiency. How the heck does it have better emissions when it burns twice the fuel!!!?!?? They just can't understand it.... Wait... Unless it's not about emissions at all... It's about controlling shipping lines.... One of the first things you try to do when you go to war.... ??? :?: Maybe I'm just paranoid.... Government wouldn't do that.... If that were true, they'd be manipulating fuel prices to put independents out of business and requiring restrictive physical qualifications to eliminate further more independents..... WAIT!!!!
